I am going to assume my DVD player has a gremlin and try the discs on a friend's player in a few days time. Incidentally it cannot be the sheer number of files 'cos I tried with just a couple of hundred and I downloaded the software (which looks just like the other burning programmes I have tried - but thank you for it any way) but still with the same result.
